Interim Supply Chain Analyst

Due to current expansion and major business transition, a manufacturing client, based in Birmingham, requires an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to audit and optimise their current operational and Demand Planning processes

This will be an interim role (outside IR35) between 3 and 5 days per week, with probably differing hours each week but definitely Monday to Friday (no weekend requirement)

Day rate between £250 per day and £350 per day depending on experience

Role Details

  • Full 'audit' of current operational Supply Chain processes covering Goods In and Putaway, Location Control, Stock Reconciliation and Despatch, highlighting issues and recommendations for improvement
  • Analysis of current S&OP process and recommendations for improvement, including identifying system improvements required to move to next stage
  • Assisting the client with the action plan and implementing all improvements
  • Implementation of improved business reporting to measure all associated KPI's 
  • Establishing and implementing new KPI's where required
  • Providing a comprehensive business report to the management team, covering findings, recommendations for process improvement and performance measures

The Candidate

  • Experienced in Supply Chain Management, preferably having previously managed in an operational supply environment
  • Supply and Demand Planning experience preferred
  • Demonstrable experience of performance management, and implementation/management of of key performance indicators
  • Audit experience (ISO or internal ops) ideal although not essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative and cross-functionally across a number of warehouse and office functions
  • Comfortable with working with senior management, ideally some presentation experience 
  • Interim worker comfortable with potentially differing weekly schedules and hours, although all working will be between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm
  • Contractor working through limited company or umbrella company on behalf of Shenwick Recruitment Limited
