Bookkeeper (Part Time)

Our client, the sole UK agent for two leading Chinese budget tyre brands, requires an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Administrator to control all business finance processes. 

Part time - based on a 3 day working week

ROLE DETAILS

  • Inputting invoice details onto central system
  • Communication of all invoices via e mail/post
  • Coordinating and controlling all invoices in terms of tracking and updating status of all live invoices
  • Working closely with Ops teams to oversee checking processes at Goods Out and Debrief processes post delivery
  • Purchase order management on system
  • Invoice analysis
  • Monthly reconciliation 
  • Produce weekly sales analysis reports
  • Bank statement reconciliation
  • VAT processing (working in close conjunction with external accountant)
  • Investigation of any stock discrepancies as part of weekly/monthly reconciliation
  • Ad hoc tasks as requested

CANDIDATE

  • At least 3 years Accounting Administration experience
  • Familiarity with day to day financial practice
  • Microsoft Excel skills in terms of creating and manipulating reports
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to independently implement new processes and manage existing processes
  • Finance qualifications
