Bookkeeper

My client, a well established tyre wholesaler based in Tamworth, Staffordshire, requires a Bookkeeper to establish and coordinate all key finance processes in the business, and also work closely with their external accountant. This is an exciting new role within the business, and would be ideal for either an experienced Bookkeeper or a recent graduate that can demonstrate AAT Bookkeeping qualifications

Role Details (Reporting to the Operations Manager)

  • Financial day to day management and processing of both purchase order and sales order data
  • Invoice management
  • Balancing and reconciliation
  • Data integrity
  • Reporting management (system reports, KPI's)
  • Process mapping
  • Operational stock counts/checks when required

Candidate Requirements

  • Experienced Bookkeeper or recent graduate who can demonstrate AAT qualification/s
  • Financial experience essential in terms of general invoice management and weekly/monthly reconciliation
  • Demonstrable experience of performing finance processes
  • Preparing year end or half year accounts desirable although not essential, as the role would be working with the external accountant to prepare company accounts
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Advanced/intermediate user of Microsoft Excel

This is a full time role based on a 40 hour week. (Monday to Friday)
